This paper describes mainly the configuration and operation of ground station for KIT SAT-3. The TT&C ground station communicates with KITSAT-3 in order to control the satellite and receive the housekeeping status of the satellite. The image receiving ground staion receives and process the image data obtained from the DITSAT-3 multi-spectral camra. The hardware systems in both ground stations wer configured by using a couple of PCs and off-the-shelf products such that the cost of ground staion equipment was minimized. The several software packages were developed so that the operation of the ground stations is as easy and automated as possible.
