In the present report, Mode I tensile and fatigue tests on CFRP were carried out with electrical resistance method. Electrical resistance had been recognized naturally as to increase with crack propagation. It increased in macro view. By continuous measurement during the loading test, decreases in resistance were, however, observed. Taking account of totally new concept as "hidden delamination," this fact will be explained, then, possibilities of detection and identification of delamination with great sensibility by this method will be presented. This report concluded that the detection by this method allows further insight into the damage mechanisms.
