Theoretical prerequisites and results of experimental testing of optimal smelting technology for treating complex sulfide-oxide ore concentrates with elevated content of oxide copper produced have been discussed. Two flow-sheets for pyrometallurgical processing of complex concentrates producing white matte and low-iron slag without sulfur transfer to the off gas have been proposed.
