The H-IIA launch vehicle family is designed by National Space Development Agency of Japan (NASDA) to meet diversifying launch demands in the 21st century with lower cost and high degree of reliability, by making the best use of H-Ⅱ launch vehicle technology. The first standard vehicle is planed to be launched in the summer of 2000 and an augmented vehicle in 2002 from Tanegashima Space Center. One of the modification from H-Ⅱ is introducing electric actuator systems for thrust vectoring of the first stage engine, the second stage engine and two solid rocket boosters (SRB-A). For liquid rocket booster (LRB) the same two engines as the first stage engine are used and the same electric actuator systems are used for engine gimbal systems. In this paper, these thrust vector control (TVC) systems using electric actuators are introduced and the specifications of each actuator systems are summarized.
