摘要

Conformal antennas are of interest inrnconnection with antennas integrated with existingrnplatform. The platform may often be approximatedrnlocally as a cylindrical structure of arbitrary crossrnsection. Then, a spectrum of two-dimensionalrnsolutions (S2DS) can be applied to solve the problemrnvery efficiently. In this paper, analysis of the effect ofrna limited sector of a circular multilayer cylinder onrnthe radiation pattern of a conformal patch antenna isrnpresented. The numerical results are verified againstrnanother code and measurements. A comparison ofrnthe computation time between this work and directrn3D MoM is also presented.
