Due to the increasing number of freeway tunnels, it becomes more and more important to ensure the tunnel safety. The paper presents a cooperative control technology under typical emergencies in freeway tunnel groups, which is proposed to achieve coordinated cooperation between Lane Indicators, Video Monitors, Variable Message Signs, and other electromechanical facilities. The method is aimed at reducing the negative impact of emergencies in freeway tunnels.
