The innovation of Media Industry recently is very noticeable. Based on a global investigation of the existing press, broadcasting and TV industries in China, this paper probes into the innovation of the country's Media Industry, summarizes its recent innovative achievements, points out the difficulties Media Industry has encountered in the innovation and suggestions the new ways of innovating: ① The breakthrough innovation in theories under the condition of insisting on emancipating the mind. The government is the leading role of institution innovation of Media Industry. Therefore, it should provide an effective innovating system to support the media enterprises in market, accordance with the Constitution.②The entrepreneurship of media enterprises. They should conduct a market-oriented management innovation and abide by market rules.③Media enterprises should adapt to the changes of broadcast technologies and environment. They should orient the innovation toward the development of digital broadcast technologies and new media.
