摘要

The paper investigated oil in water Pickering emulsion stabilized by Nano-cellulose obtained by sulfuric acid hydrolysis of microcrystalline cellulose.The yield of NCC reached to 60%,and the average size of NCC was determined to be around 152.9 nm.When the content of NCC was 5 g/L,the surface tension was54.58mN/m.Styrene Pickering emulsions were prepared by NCC at high sonication power and micro-emulsifying with 5g/L NCCs exhibited high stability to creaming.During the polymerization of styrene Pickering emulsion,when the content of NCC was 5g/L,the conversion rate of emulsion reached79%.
