In order to test the certain communication system, we design a portable test instrument. The hardware system of the test instrument is an industrial controlling computer, in which one PCI-9118DG card and one signal-processing card are plugged. We make the test program with C+ + Builder under Windows 98 system. In this paper, we introduce the application of PCI-9118DG data acquisition card in the test instrument.
