摘要

Querying by image content (QBIC) is widely uesed in these information-increased days. In this paper , We studid some methods of querying the image based on its content . We used the color,the texture and the shape as the features of the image . We used statistical method as based on color . We used gray-symbiotic matrix method based on texture. We used Hu moment method as based on shape.We compared these methods and found the advantages and the disadvantages of each method . The method which based on the color( statistical method) is just statistical and has no pixels distributed (or spatial) information.But it is very simple.The method whick based on the texture(gray-symbiotic matric method) has subtle information of the image.The method which based on the shape (Hu moment method) can give shape imformation and be insensitive to rotation and translation ,but it has more computational omplexities. In the sequel ,we can query the image as we like.using one method or optional combination of these methods together.As time limited ,we studied only one object in the static image.
