This paper, from the point of studying Human Visual System (HVS), provides an evaluation method of objective image quality based on Human Visual System, presents the evaluation criterion of SNR and PSNR based on HVS model, and gives out the evaluating result of the typical image. In the meantime, it verifies the consistency between the subjective and the objective evaluating results.
