Green sand molding is one of the oldest molding techniques in the world, and will continue to be widely used in future because of its low production cost, high productivity, and existing facilities. However, due to demands for compliance with environmental protection regulations and for improved working conditions, dimensional accuracy of castings, and productivity, new green sand molding techniquex and molding machines were developed in recent years. We will discuss new flaskless molding machines with patented blow pressure control systems, its molding principles and applications.
