摘要

The proces of syrup clarification by means of phosphofloatation method has been reviewed for it's degree of effectiveness. The parameters like ash removal, colour reduction, additional retention of syrup etc have been studied by analysing a number of actual process data of Indian sugar factories. An alternative process with defined reasons have been discussed for it's adoption with minor changes in the conventional process.
