Energy conservation plays vital role in the present days. Especially for the Cogeneration sugar factories, it is essential to reduce the inhouse power consumption to export more power to electricity grid. The main objective of this paper is to pinpoint how the wastage of energy & water requirements are curtailed by installing single entry double effect condensers at USW Ltd. As a part of Energy conservation we concentrated on condensation system where the area consumes more water and power. Water and Power are correlated in this area. Authors have studied water and power consumption with the various type of condensersand they opined that single entry double effect (jet & spray) condensers are more effective in reducing water and power consumption.
