A 3-degree of freedom musculoskeletal dynamics model with 10 muscles and its algorithm was established for determining the redundant muscular forces of human lower limb while wajking on the different terrain. The EMG (Electromyography) signals were recorded and analyzed. The computational results show the contribution of each muscle is very different even in the same gait pattern, and for the different walking pattern, the force of the same muscle is different too. The EMG signals also demonstrate above conclusion.
