In the past two decades, carbon nanotubes (CNTs) and graphene have attracted extensive attentions due to their unique mechanical, thermal, and electronic properties. Besides, the one-dimensional (1D) CNTs and two-dimensional (2D) graphene are suggested as ideal "building blocks" for carbon-based nanostructures and devices through the bottom-up strategy. Thus, the effective combination of 1D CNTs and 2D graphene through direct growth method becomes a hot topic and has been extensively studied. However, until now, the fabrication of graphene/single-walled CNTs (SWCNTs) is still a great challenge for researchers.
