StoRE aims to facilitate energy storage development on a European and national level.rnTo this end a consortium was put together to represent all different aspects of bulkrnenergy storage. StoRE will deal with the non-technological barriers to energy storage,rncreating the right regulatory and market conditions that will give incentives for therndevelopment of energy storage infrastructure to the extent necessary for thernaccommodation of the planned renewable energy installations to the electricity grid. Thernpossible positive and negative impacts of the different energy storage options on thernenvironment will be also assessed and the considerations of the relevant actors will berntaken into account.
