Contrasting to composite steel-concrete structures, where it is possible to achieve a rigid connection between steel and concrete by so called rigid connectors, the composite timber-concrete structures, in which mechanical connectors are used as means of coupling, displacements in this connection are regularly present. Slip in this connection, i.e. the relief of coupling means is defined by slip module K. This paper presents an alternate method of calculation of T-section forces in composite timber-concrete structures mat are fastened through nails, which supply a partial joint, subjected to transverse loading. Both materials are designed for this particular strength. Then, each component will efficiently work, timber in tension and concrete in compression. Denominated semi-rigid connection, the wood-concrete cross-section is subjected to a relative slip. The methodologies shown in the paper wrap static basic, displacement compatibility, with perfectly elastic assumption. This paper analyses and reports a parallel between the Exact Method and an alternate method, called Approximate Method. According to this analysis, the results did not differ significantly when compared to each other. Consequently, the Approximate Method is more appropriate to use in engineering because the calculation is simple and very advantageous.
