摘要

Polymer electrolytes containing polyethylene oxide (PEO) and ammonium salts (NH_4F and NH_4BF_4) have been studied and found to have room temperature conductivity of the order of 10~(-6) - 10~(-5) S/cm. The addition of plasticizers having different dielectric constant and viscosity values has been found to modify the conductivity of polymer electrolytes. The increase in conductivity with plasticizer addition has been found to depend upon (ⅰ) the amount of salt present, (ⅱ) amount of plasticizer added and (ⅲ) the nature of plasticizer used. Preliminary NMR studies show that these polymer electrolytes are proton conductors.
