Globally, RF-MEMS research and development projects have seen an increase in funding during the last year; this is certainly true for Asian markets. As a percentage of overall investment in MEMS in Asia, the funding of RF-based projects has increased the most in the last year. This paper addresses some of the RF-MEMS R&D trends, research results, and business strategies that have been seen throughout Asia since the COMS 2002 meeting in Ypsilanti.
