摘要

Light Ray Optimization is an optimization method which searches the optimization by simulating the light ray propagation. It is inspired from the Fermat’s Principle. In the searching process of Light Ray Optimization, the function value and the density of medium are correspondent. To solve the limitation that the medium density has to be positive, the function transform is introduced. After analyzing the searching property and the practical meaning of the light ray searching process, the proper function transforms are applied to change the negative function value into positive and make the searching of Light Ray Optimization possible. The numerical experiments show that the Light Ray Optimization can find the optimization quickly after the function transform. The feasible range of Light Ray Optimization is widen. The Light Ray Optimization based on function transform is practical.
