In this paper, we report UV-rays catalytic and chiral catalytic, directly asymmetric syntheses of E,@(+)-Uniconazole and E,R(-)-diniconazole, (2) the methods for quantitative determination and identification of optical isomers of uniconazole and diniconazole, as their R(-)-2-(4'-chlorophenyl) isobutyl acid derivatives on a ordinary column, (3) the biological test, for growth control to drench narcissus, and against powdery mildew in cucumber.
