摘要

This study represents an attempt to develop a new relationship of the adhesion at the nanoscale using the atomic force microscopy (AFM). We have studied the influence of surface chemistry by modifying the chemical properties of the AFM silicon tip with hydrophobic and hydrophilic SAMs and we study the influence of the mechanical response by modifying the mechanical properties of a cross linked polymer like PDMS. The studied model systems allowed us to express the mechanical and chemical surface contributions in a force curve measurement. The study of the environmental factor such as temperature on the adhesion is showing. Finally we suggest an original relationship between the different factors that influence adhesion at the nanoscale.
