Hot Isostatic Pressing(HIP) of boron powser was studied. In order to predict the behavior of the medium during compaction, simulation was led thanks to a program based on the finite element method. Constitutive equations of the model which are used in this program are described. Then, the carried out experimens(test involving interrupted HIP cycles, uniaxial compression on porous and dense samples at 1540 deg C) and the results leading to fully calibration of model parameters are presented. For uniaxial compression, simple hypotheses were done to calculate parameters and simulation of this experiment enable the hypotheses to be checked.
