摘要

Recent efforts to increase the efficiency of public sector organizations stem from the need to save public funds. For this reason, these organizations must make use of modern management methods to provide services either commissioned by the state or provided by the institutions themselves at the discretion of their top management. Typical examples of these organizations are public libraries. They can use the modern method of bibliomining to analyze their portfolio of services. However, this method is not developed in detail in the area of public services, although it will help as the only detailed analysis of the portfolio of services, and provide important information for optimizing management processes in the organization. This paper aims to bridge this gap and is a practical application of clustering methods and methods of extraction of attributes from real public library data in order to uncover similarities in the services provided by public libraries, based on a representative set of behavior patterns of users. The results of this work can then be implemented to achieve more efficient management of the public library.
