According to the characteristics of dense pipelines, complex laying and strongrntechnologies in product oil tank farm, the safety monitoring and controlling system forrnpipelines in oil depot is established based on GIS technology. In order to improve thernsafety performance of oil depot, the system puts emphases on the monitoring the flow,rnpressure and temperature of all the pipelines. Specially, the advanced seal equipments ofrnstorage, oil receiving and delivery are designed in the oil depot. Each tank is connectedrnwith nitrogen generator, oil vapor recovery unit and loading area by the pipelines. Thernsystem can real-time control the oil gas concentration and pressure of the oil gas space inrnthe tank by regulating flow of the nitrogen. Then oil product loss can be reduced. Whatrnis more important, the system can put an end to the fire and explosion accidents andrnfinally the oil depot will come up to the HSE standard.
