The thermal therapies are based on the heat transfer in biological tissues. The goal of this paper is to present the computer-aided analysis of the heat transfer in skin tissue using the clinical data and experience of the medical doctors. Some computational aspects in numerical simulation of the thermal behaviour of the living tissues are presented and numerical models based on the finite element method are used in the numerical simulation. As target examples we consider some thermal therapies with computation domain a cylinder so that the cylindrical-coordinate are used for the mathematical model. The bioheat equation in cylindrical coordinates is the mathematical model for the heat transfer in skin tissue. This equation is solved for different boundary conditions.
