Effective analysis of used or failed dust collector bags can only be performed in a properlyrnequipped textile laboratory. Field analysis of dust bag problems is limited to an overview of dustrncollector condition and operation, condition of component parts, system design, processrnconditions and the location of the bag to be tested.rnThis presentation will address the types of tests which can be performed in a qualified laboratory,rnhow the tests are performed and what the resulting information provides in determining bagrncondition and/or mode of failure.
