This document details the test and analytical results that demonstrate the fail-safe operation / fly homerncapability of a Sikorsky aircraft with a large main rotor blade upper skin-to-core disbond. In addition, thisrnreport also identifies the necessary inspection techniques for significant blade disbonds. This wasrnaccomplished through a combination of laboratory testing, whirl testing and design analysis. The resultsrnindicate that an upper skin-to-core disbond of a main rotor blade is not a safety of flight concern. They alsornindicate that the existing inspection intervals and techniques adequately address this issue.
