Preparation for direct measurement of ~(12)C+~4He→~(16)O+γ reaction at stellar energy has been made in Kyushu University tandem laboratory (KUTL) since 1914. We plan to measure the reaction at E_(cm) = 2.4-0.7 MeV where the cross section is estimated to be 60 nbarn-1 pbam. Many instrumental developments have been made for a ~(12)C beam, a windowless helium gas target, ~(16)O detection, background reduction. We started the measurement in 2006.
