A review of the recent developments and applications of neutron activation analysis in the past five years is presented in this chapter. Topics covered include reference materials, archaeology, geochemistry, engineering materials, environmental, plants and crops, medical and clinical studies, facilities improvements, and software and instrumentation development. Neutron activation analysis is now more widely used than ever before in a plethora of investigations by many worldwide laboratories and the participating research groups.
