John Moulder arrived at the ideal moment on the scene of rapid progress in model-based ECT, and contributed significantly to the advancement of the technology, based on his full mastery of the theoretical foundation, Eq. (10), and on his exceptional experimental talents. The result is his remarkably broad coverage of quantitative EC NDE fields, not only advancing basic capabilities but also putting the advancements into practice by way of developing innovative instruments. By so doing, he made significant contributions to our society in support of increased safety of the aviation and other safety-critical systems.
