摘要

Laboratory tests for disbond detection on lap splice joints and tear straps with horizontal shear modes were conducted. Measurements were performed on disbonds of various sizes using two different modes. Results demonstrate the potential of guided shear modes for disbond detection of multilayered structures. Finally, the specially designed EMAT probes proved to be efficient in terms of mode excitation and reception.
