摘要

We report the structural characterization of the wheat straw lignin polymer extracted in acetic acid/formic acid media with controlled hydration. This new methodology allows the separation at atmospheric pressure of cellulose as a very valuable chemical pulp, sugars from hemicelluloses and lignin. We have used various spectrometric techniques to show that the lignin extracted under these soft conditions is a linear, regular and low molecular weight polymer suitable for further efficient transformations into macro monomers, for the polymer industry. We postulate that this structure seems to be very close than the native structure of lignin in plant and opens new possibilities for better understanding the structure of the vegetal cell wall.
