A simulation model for pulp bleaching based on multi-phase modelling and micro-scale phenomena is presented. The use of two liquid phases enables the treatment of reaction kinetics and mass transfer in detail with the Donnan effect. Small simulation case is used to demonstrate the characteristics of the model.
