摘要

For the insulation design of a electric apparatus, the electric field optimization becomes an indispensable tool. In this paper, a novel combination of traditional and optimized CSM based on the genetic algorithms (GA) is presented for calculating electric fields. Based on the well studied and analyzed traditional CSM, the optimized charge locations and quantities have been realized using GA as the optimization method. The feasibility and practicability of the combination method are verified by calculating the electric field of a 35kV vacuum interrupter.
