摘要

A preliminary design and subsequent numerical analyses of steel-steel/glass built-up blast doors and windows is here presented. The maximum blast overpressure is 0.182bar developing in 45 x 10~(-6)sec. Suitable designs have been planned, design criteria and procedures described according to [1, 2, 3], and numerical analyses performed through the F.E. code ABACUS. Three-dimensional elasto-plastic equivalent-static and dynamic analyses including rebound phenomena have been considered for some door and window types. Final results in terms of von Mises stresses and deformations have been obtained and are discussed here; the designed structural elements have been found to behave inside a safety working range.
