Corrosion is one of the most important problems influencing the reliability and the lifetime of buried pipeline system. When the pipeline is lack of protection, it has certain actual significance to predict corruption with pipeline no-excavation using relevant instruments. This paper is an attempt to use the current detecting technology of the defects on the buried pipeline coat to estimate the equivalent circle diameter of the damaged points on the pipeline coat. Combing with the corruption current density when the pipeline is lack of protection, the corrosion prediction with no-excavation to the pipeline is carried out. Then the first leakage time caused by corruption of the pipeline is achieved.
