The topic of this paper is to clarify the correlation between uniaxial ratchetting behavior and viscousrndeformation from both experiments and a dislocation density based constitutive model. The correlation isrnobserved with comparison of creep curves before and after the primary uniaxial ratchetting. Therncorresponding strain to creep during uniaxial ratchetting is defined with comparison of creep curve ofrnoriginal specimens with that after the primary uniaxial ratchetting. Variation of immobile dislocationrndensity during both uniaxial ratchetting and creep deformation can be explained by simulations based onrnthe dislocation based constitutive model.
