摘要

On considering the use of "clean" environment-friendly renewable energies for power generation, and specially in the Argentine Republic's background, the following aspects should be stressed: 1. A great variety of natural conditions suitable to use renewable energies (wind, solar, hydro). In certain zones there is the possibility of mixed developments 2. To revert internal migration trends, offering better living conditions in small communities, in order to achieve a more even economic and social development. 3. To contribute to preserve the environment, by promoting the use of clean energies for power production, through a suitable financing including all the project 4. To give priority to on-site power generation through the use of renewable energies, avoiding extended transmission lines or the installation of Diesel groups 5. To preserve the development of multipurpose hydro projects that, in addition to power production, offer other benefits, such as supplying drinking water to communities in quantity and quality enabling a good living standard 6. To plan projects with sustainable development criteria in order to their harmonic continuity in time 7. Argentina, due to its scarce population in relation to its surface, natural conditions and developing country status, offers an optimal situation for the future, provided suitable policies should be followed in its integral planning
