摘要

The properties of stability, capability, and improvability are used as dynamic measures of effectiveness (MOE) of the quality of business and industrial operations. Overall strategy is to: (1) determine a stable equilibrium state; (2) establish stationarity and capability; (3) develop an improvement performance function and design an experiment set through some DOE technique; (4) derive a simple response model from the results of the experiments and verify with that model that system stability coincides with the optimum performance; (5) iterate on steps (1) through (4) to achieve an acceptable level of stability, performance, and cost.
