Leisure life is rural people' s daily life in their spare time. In the past decades, most of the rural people, in Hunan province, spend their time in playing cards, chatting, watch TV and so on. But in the new century, people' s leisure life is becoming colorful, tour has been an important part of their leisure life. In order to clarify the situation of rural residents' leisure tour life in Hunan province, we had taken investigations in 4 different counties (liuyang, hu-arong, xinning and fenghuang) of Hunan province in May 2001 and April 2006 respectively. Now, I' ld like to introduce some conclusions about our investigation after statistical works had done.
