The Bolivia-Brazil Gas Pipeline Project is a major South American pipeline serving the natural gas market in Brazil. TEG, the transportation company on the Brazilian side, developed an integrated commercial and operational management system in partnership with Energy Solutions International Inc. to increase the efficiency and quality of natural gas transportation service. TBG needed a field-proven solution to manage commercial procedures and operational tools to evaluate available capacity in the pipeline. To meet the challenge, TBG and Energy Solutions developed a state-of-the-art network that combines a gas contract management system with engineering applications for pipeline monitoring. The resulting network integrated commercial, operational, SCAD A, and corporate financial software.
