Influence of grain mass contents on properties of vi-brocast samples of sintered and fused MgO-stabilized ZrO_2 was studied. It was determined that open porosity of fired samples of all grain compositions from sintered MgO-stabilized ZrO_2 is higher than that of fused due to different open porosity of initial materials. At the same time, cold crushing strength of samples from sintered materials is higher and thermal shock resistance is lower than of samples from fused material with the same grain composition. Comparative studies on influence of the diluting additive (hydrophobic silica-organic liquid HSL-11) amount on flowability under vibration of a grain thixotropic mass of an optimal grain composition from sintered and fused MgO-stabilized ZrO_2 have been carried out. It was determined that the nature of flowability of the studied masses after introduction of the additive is identical, although its optimum amount providing maximum flowability of masses under vibration is different and makes 0.25 and 0.15 % for masses from sintered and from fused MgO-stabilized ZrO_2 correspondingly. It allows decreasing their moisture to 6.5 % and 5 % correspondingly at maximum flowability.A technology of vibrocast products from MgO-stabilized ZrO_2 both from sintered and fused has been developed. For service conditions connected with high mechanical load it is recommended to use products from sintered MgO-stabilized ZrO_2 characterised by high cold crushing strength - 200-250 N/mm~2, and for service conditions connected with sharp thermal changes it is recommended to use thermal shock resistant products from fused MgO-stabilized ZrO_2 characterised by high thermal shock resistant - more than 20 heat cycles without appearing of cracks.
