摘要

The interaction between graphite, binder and oxide grains causes non-linear plastic-elastic behaviour under load. Due to a catalytically activated resin binder a graphitic structure like natural flake graphite is generated in the bonding of MgO-C bricks. This bonding structure leads to superior mechanical, thermal and chemical properties of MgO-C-bricks in industrial applications with respect also to ecological aspects.
