摘要

The project of using surrounding rock to adjust the design of dynamic timbering during the construction is the main idea behind the New Austria Tunneling Model (NATM). Factors and parameters that influenced the deformation of surrounding rock are complex and difficult to describe by definitive values.According to the mathematical model based on the theory of identification in the fuzzy inference, professional knowledge, expert experience, theory and method of artificial intelligence are combined to set up the Judge System Fuzzy Inference (JSFI).The system is based on Self-Organizing-Feature-Map and fuzzy mathematics to deal with uncertain information and to express complex characteristics of the deformation of the surrounding rock. The stability of the surrounding rock according to the geologic conditions has been assessed comprehensively and a more accurate classification of the surrounding rock has been achieved. The present results agree well with the present dynamic design theory. The system has been applied in the Yunling Tunnel construction of the Shi-man Highway.
