According to the existing conditions of transferring from opencast mining into underground mining of the Shirengou Iron Mine, the 3D-finite-element numerical simulation method is adopted in this paper. Nine kinds of room design schemes of the north band were simulated. The distribution of stress and strain of side and slope was simulated to judge the stability of the slope. Sensitivity analysis on principal stress and strain indexes concerning the slope stability was carried on, and the sensitivity degree of slope stability for various structure parameters was conducted. At the same time, the paper also established the comprehensive fuzzy mathematics modeling considering safety and profit by use of fuzzy theory. By means of comprehensive evaluation, the optimum project was obtained and accordingly the structure parameters of room were obtained.
