摘要

The solvent sublation technique has been applied for hte removal of mesitylene from aqueours emulsion. The aim of the investigations was to determine the method of mesitylene emission control during air stripping or solvent sublation processes. It has been found that compared to air stripping, solvnet sublation reduces to a great extent the emission of mesitylene to the atmosphere. The residual emission could be minimized by the continuous flow of the organic layer, or totally avoided by carbon adsorption on a charcoal trap.
