摘要

The cause of the distortion of the shape of the cocoon is variously thought. We experimented what influence the silkworm received in a strong electromagnetic field. First, the distortion of the cocoon when the silkworm was bred in the magnetic field was considered. Secondarily, the difference of the mortality of the silkworm to which the silkworm had been bred in the magnetic field was considered. As a result, it was known that the difference of the mortality depended on the difference of male and female or the race. Moreover, the distortion that seemed that the magnetic field influenced was observed as for the shape of the cocoon.
