Flue Gas Recirculation (FGR) is a combustion modification process for stoker-fired boilers that will increase boiler efficiency and steaming capacity, while at the same time reduce particulates, stack opacity and NOx emissions. Emissions of sulfur oxides (SOx) can also be controlled with FGR when limestone is added to the fuel in the form of a coal/limestone pellet.
